If you answered yes to all the questions above, then you should know B & B Innovative Staffing Services is seeking Cooks 1, 2, and 3 to join the large resort/hotel style culinary team at one of our client’s locations. With multiple outlets, pastry kitchens, and banquet operations, your development and learning are never-ending. Our Client also seeks to develop and promote from within. What will be expected of you:

  • Consistently maintain high standards of quality, cost, eye appeal, and flavor of foods
  • Consult with dining service personnel during daily line-ups
  • Assist in food delivery, storage, and issuing food items
  • Check mise en place before service time and inspect the presentation of food items to insure that quality standards are met
  • Assist with the production of daily specials for restaurants
  • Make recommendations for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the kitchen and its equipment

How we determine your qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of sauteing, broiler stations, modern cooking, and plate presentation techniques
  • 2 years of experience as a cook at a hotel or resort preferred
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

  • Bethesda, MD 20817: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
